The Varsity Colts fought a good fight but
came up short against El Paso Americas last Friday night in
the Area playoffs. The Colts lost by a score of 5-4.
Although the season has ended, the Varsity and JV teams are
to be congratulated on a very successful season! |

The Varsity won their playoff match vs.
Abilene (in overtime!) by a score of 1-0. They will now take
on El Paso Americas on Friday, March 27th at 7:00 PM at
Odessa's Ratliff Stadium. Click

The next Booster Club meeting will take
place Thursday, March 26th at 6:30 PM at AHS. It will likely
be held in the cafeteria, but check back later for location
information. Please note that this is the last scheduled
meeting prior to the garage sale/car wash and Annual
Banquet. Please make every effort to attend as several
important details about the Banquet will be decided. |

The Varsity Colts finished District play
with a record of 6-6 and earned a spot in the playoffs! The
Bi-District match will feature the Colts vs. District 3-5A
Champion Abilene Eagles on Tuesday, March 24th at
6:30 P.M. (note new time!) at
Shotwell Stadium in Abilene.
The Colts are
returning to the playoffs for the third year in a row and
this year marks the 7th time out of 11 seasons that Coach
Waldrop has led the Colts to the playoffs. Congratulations
and best wishes in the playoffs! |

The Spring Garage Sale and Car Wash will take place
Saturday, April 4th from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM at AHS (Parking
Lot by Gym on Cooper St). Please come out and bring that
stuff that’s filling your closets, garages and store
rooms. If you can’t be there for the sale, please call Tim
Turner at (817) 451-7181 and arrange for your items to be
picked up. If you donated all your stuff last fall, then
maybe you might want to buy some items or just help out,
have a grilled hot dog and show your support! The more the
merrier!!!

months away!), and the Silent Auction and Raffle. This is
an IMPORTANT meeting and your participation is needed as

The Booster Club will be serving grilled hamburgers
and hot dogs during games this year. That
means you don't have to rush to eat before the game...you can relax
and enjoy a tasty warm meal while watching some exciting soccer this
season! |

Concession stand volunteers and donations are still needed! Items
needed include Sprite, Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper, and
tortilla chips for nachos. Please drop off donations at the

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Annual Kickoff Party held
on
December 9th. In addition to announcing the
Varsity,
JV1,
and
JV2 rosters, the event provided an opportunity to sign up new
booster club members and volunteers for the concession stand.
Booster Club President Debi Turner reports sales of spirit gear went
well and almost 150 hot dogs were served during the evening! |
